Yesterday I applied for a job that garners great enthusiasm from me.
I know I could perform well, and I know I would be quite thrilled to have said job.
They are accepting applications until the end of the month. I’ll be carrying around a flutter of excitement until then.
I sincerely hope they call me.

Why am I awake?
Well, I might be awake because I had a dream where I was working at my old job. I was a hotel “concierge,” aka I worked in a room dubbed the “executive suite.” In this room was free food and a cash bar, for all of the guests who stayed on the fifth floor.
